Posted by JUSTOURS
It is no longer news that YouTube suspended the account of TB Joshua over allegations of hate speech. His Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has huge followers online, its YouTube account alone had 1.8 million subscribers. SCOAN, has, however issued a statement that it would appeal the suspension of its Channel by YouTube.
In a statement issued by Emmanuel TV, recently, it stated that the “Church strongly opposes all forms of hate speech! We have had a long and fruitful relationship with YouTube and believe this decision was made in haste.
‘’ We appreciate your prayers and support as we are making every effort to appeal this decision and see the channel restored’’.
A rights body had filed a complaint after reviewing at least seven videos showing the preacher conducting prayers to “cure” gay people.
Facebook has also removed at least one of the offending posts showing a woman being slapped while TB Joshua says he is casting out a “demonic spirit. ”
TB Joshua is a leading Africa’s evangelist, and popular across the continents.
