Corps Marshal Boboye Oyeyemi has urged the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officials in the field to sustain the high tempo said to have been recorded in the ongoing Muslim cementation, Eid-el-Kabir. Dr. Oyeyemi also sought for more cooperation from the motoring public for increased performance. In a statement by the FRSC spokesman, Mr. Bisi Kazeem, the road safety boss in the country expressed his satisfaction with the general conduct, commitment and professionalism so far exhibited by the personnel in carrying out their operations.
Kazeem who is FRSC Public Education Officer quoted the Corps Marshal saying the excellent performances embedded so far into the exercise has impacted positively on the special operations. The successes achieved, he said, was only made possible through the cooperation of all categories of road users. He therefore called on all motorists to continue cooperating with the operatives of the Corps.
” I must commend the cooperation of the road user, ” he said. He also said the “excellent performances and positive impact recorded by the corps were directly tied to the high rate of compliance received from the motoring public.”
Kazeem said the commendation became necessary after receiving briefs from supervisory officers deployed from the National Headquarters to monitor the special operations nationwide.
Notwithstanding,
Oyeyemi recalled that a noticeable number of the motoring public were seen violating traffic rules. He therefore urged the officials to rededicate themselves for better service.
