Lagos Gov Sanwo-Olu Escapes to La Campagne Resort


Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has paid a visit to a popular  resort in Lagos State.                                      Sanwo-Olu visited La Campagne Tropicana Forest Beach Resort on his way from an official engagement last Friday. He had commissioned a facility on the Lekki Trade Zone corridor that day which is minutes away.                                La Campagne is patronised by well heeled individuals and the  wealthy in the society as it offers upmarket offerings. It provided accommodation for Miss World Organization team when they visited Nigeria for the first time in 2000. The name of the resort readily comes to mind when names of top places for reinvigoration is mentioned in the country.  But it is gathered that Sanwo-Olu is the first Lagos State Governor that has visited La Campagne.                              As old habits die hard he encouraged his entourage to stop over at the nature area of Lekki, La Campagne. The Governor himself said he is not the first-time visitor to the resort which is a haven of sort to people who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of a city life.                    He had visited many times as a private person.  And he was quick to point out to  Mr. Wanle Akinboboye who is the CEO of La Campagne resort the many heartwarming changes and upgrades at the property.                                                     Without a doubt, the resort effect  ensured the august visitor stayed for hours at the resort situated at Ibeju-Lekki area  of Lagos.                                             The resort is spread on 65 acres of expansive lawns, boasting scented tropical gardens as well as Savannah and cool mangrove forest.                                    La Campagne is welcoming. The Governor was relaxed as he was entertained by  the resort’s lady drummer and songstress, Ara as well as other entertainers.                                          Before leaving the resort he commended the management of the foremost resort in Lagos.
