Lagos Commissioner Speaks on Third Mainland Bridge Closing, Early Opening

The Commissioner for Transportation, Lagos State, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde has expressed his gratitude to the motoring public in Lagos, especially those affected by the closure of the Third Mainland Bridge closure for their understanding. He assured that the Babajide Sanwo-Olu-led administration will continue to drive infrastructural growth in the state.
Oladeinde said the iconic Third Mainland Bridge is now open as work been completed. He said against the earlier projected Tuesday, February 2, 2021 opening for the Third Mainland Bridge as a result of the casting of the expansion joints, the work has now been completed and therefore opened a day earlier to vehicular movement, which is by 12 midnight today, Sunday January, 32 2021.
While assuring that the Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration will continue to drive infrastructural growth in the state, the commissioner urged citizens to cooperate with the state government as all other ongoing rehabilitation projects will come to an end in a very short while. He added that the benefits is safety is for all and sundry.
